FKKSA’s Outbound Exchange Students to Turkey and Indonesia
Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering (FKKSA) has sent 6 students abroad to join the student exchange program at UMP’s partner institutionsin Turkey and Indonesia.Currently, the students are studying for one undergraduate semester from September 2018 to January 2019.

Tan Joo Yee and Raja Hasanatul Nisa Binti Raja Tamrin are currently joining exchange program at Yildiz Technical University, Turkey. This university is one of public universities situated in İstanbul. In sharing her experience, Joo Yee said “we have had an opportunity to join activities organised by Erasmus Student Network (ESN), to meet new international friends from all over the world”. ESN is a student organization that organized a lot of events to help exchange students to adapt with new surroundings.Besides studying, Nisa and Joo Yee also took this opportunity to visit several interesting places in Turkey.

In Indonesia, 4 students currently attached inInstitut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) are Siti Zahiah Binti Mohd Basri, Nurul Suhana Binti Jamaluddin, Durar Amani Binti Zulkarnal and Nur Syahirah Binti Juhari. ITS is a public university located in Surabaya and is known as one of the best engineering schools in Indonesia. Besides gaining a new learning experience in ITS, they have had a great time with other international exchange students from Turkey, Poland, Madagascar, Columbia, France, Holland, Timor Leste, Cambodia, and Thailand through many activities organized by ITS’s International Office such as Dies Natalis ITS annual celebration, Surabaya city tour, cultural camp and tradisional performance. “We are very honoured to participate in this exchange program” Durar Amani said happily.
